TriMas Acquires Omega Plastics and TFI Aerospace

TriMas (NASDAQ: TRS) announced bolt-on acquisitions of Omega Plastics (added to TriMas Packaging) and TFI Aerospace (added to TriMas Aerospace). Omega, a Clinton Township, Michigan injection-molding and tooling company serving medical and industrial markets, generated about $18M of revenue in 2021; TFI, near Toronto, is a specialty aerospace fastener supplier with about $6M of revenue. TriMas said both targets are private, family-owned companies and expects the deals to expand product offerings and manufacturing capacity while keeping net leverage below 2.0x.

Biomerics Acquires Dependable Plastics, Launches Interventional Medical Plastics Division

Biomerics acquired Dependable Plastics and launched a new Interventional Medical Plastics (IMP) Division to expand its plastic component capabilities for the interventional and robotic-assisted surgery markets. The acquisition adds thermoforming, liquid cast resin molding and additive manufacturing capabilities and establishes operations in Fairfield, California alongside Biomerics' Salt Lake City operations.

Technimark Acquires Tool & Plastic Industries Ltd.

Technimark, a global manufacturer of custom rigid plastic packaging backed by Pritzker Private Capital, acquired Tool & Plastic Industries Ltd., a Longford, Ireland-based injection molder with an additional facility in Ostrava, Czech Republic. The acquisition expands Technimark's healthcare manufacturing capabilities and European footprint; financial terms were not disclosed.

STRATEC SE Acquires Natech Plastics, Inc.

STRATEC SE has agreed to acquire Natech Plastics, Inc., a Ronkonkoma, New York-based manufacturer of polymer-based consumables, for USD 30.0 million plus an earn-out. The acquisition gives STRATEC a U.S. production site and expanded consumables capabilities for medical technology and in‑vitro diagnostics, with first-time consolidation expected in July 2023.

Rototech (Industry 4.0 Fund) Acquires Majority Stake in Tecnotri

Rototech, a portfolio company of Quadrivio Group's Industry 4.0 Fund, has acquired a majority stake in Tecnotri Indústria de Plásticos Ltda, a Brazilian rotational-moulding plastics manufacturer. The deal is an add-on to Rototech's platform to expand its product range and local manufacturing footprint in Brazil; founder Leonardo Segatt will retain a minority stake and the current management team will remain in place.

Trelleborg Group Acquires Aero-Plastics Inc.

Trelleborg Group, through its Trelleborg Sealing Solutions business area, has signed an agreement to acquire Aero-Plastics Inc., a Renton, Washington-based manufacturer of precision injection-molded and thermoformed high-performance polymer components for the aerospace interiors market. The acquisition — expected to close in Q2 2025 — expands Trelleborg's thermoplastics and interiors capabilities, adds capacity and customer relationships, and is intended to generate sales synergies within its aerospace offering.
