Diversified, a portfolio company of Tailwind Capital, has acquired HB Communications, an audio-visual systems integrator headquartered in North Haven, Connecticut. The add-on strengthens Diversified's Northeast footprint and expands its AV, broadcast, collaboration and managed-services capabilities for higher-education and corporate clients.

ICV Partners Acquires Diversified Restaurant Holdings

ICV Partners completed a cash acquisition of Diversified Restaurant Holdings, Inc. for approximately $130 million, including assumption of debt and transaction expenses. Concurrently, JK&T executed a 15-store area development agreement and sold certain Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants in Florida and Massachusetts to Inspire Brands; ICV will combine the remaining DRH and JK&T locations to create the largest Buffalo Wild Wings franchisee with over 80 restaurants across five states.

Diversified Restaurant Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: SAUC) entered into an agreement to acquire nine Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants in the Chicago market for $22.5 million. The acquisition expands DRH’s Midwest footprint, adds scale to leverage infrastructure and marketing, and is expected to close in Q2 subject to franchisor consent and customary conditions.

Greene King Acquires Hickory's Smokehouse Restaurant Group

Greene King has acquired Hickory's, a UK BBQ smokehouse restaurant group founded by Neil McDonnell, to accelerate the brand’s national rollout. Hickory's (operating multiple restaurants across the Midlands and North West) will continue to be run by its existing management team; financial terms were not disclosed.

Beringer Capital Invests in Northern Commerce

BBQ Holdings Acquires Barrio Queen

BBQ Holdings, Inc. (soon to be Famous Hospitality, Inc.) acquired Barrio Queen, a Phoenix/Scottsdale-based Mexican fine-dining restaurant chain, for $28 million on April 11, 2022. The acquisition expands BBQ Holdings' multi-brand restaurant portfolio and adds a fast-growing Mexican dining and tequila concept with seven locations and an eighth leased.
