McFarlane Aviation, a portfolio company of Vance Street Capital, has acquired Airforms, Inc., a Wasilla, Alaska-based designer and manufacturer of proprietary aftermarket PMA parts for general aviation. The transaction is McFarlane's first strategic add-on since its acquisition by Vance Street in October 2021 and will expand McFarlane's PMA catalog and engineering capabilities.

Los Angeles-based private equity firm Vance Street Capital has invested in Aero Group Holdings LLC, which operates Tempest Aero Group, a Burlington, North Carolina-based portfolio of FAA-PMA brands that design and manufacture replacement components for the general aviation market. Founders Tim Henderson and Mike Allen retain meaningful ownership, and Mike Allen will continue as CEO; financial terms were not disclosed.

Jet Parts Engineering LLC, a portfolio company of Vance Street Capital, has acquired Aero Parts Mart, Inc., a Fort Worth-based manufacturer of FAA-approved PMA replacement components. The transaction — the first strategic add-on for Jet Parts since partnering with Vance Street — expands the platform’s PMA catalogue (APM brings over 250 PMAs) to a combined offering of more than 1,300 PMAs; terms were not disclosed and debt financing was provided by Neuberger Berman.
