Los Angeles-based private equity firm Vance Street Capital acquired McFarlane Aviation, a Baldwin City, Kansas manufacturer and distributor of FAA-PMA aftermarket parts for general aviation. The McFarlane family will retain a meaningful ownership stake alongside Vance Street as the firm positions McFarlane as a platform investment to accelerate growth in the aerospace aftermarket.

Jet Parts Engineering LLC, a portfolio company of Vance Street Capital, has acquired Aero Parts Mart, Inc., a Fort Worth-based manufacturer of FAA-approved PMA replacement components. The transaction — the first strategic add-on for Jet Parts since partnering with Vance Street — expands the platform’s PMA catalogue (APM brings over 250 PMAs) to a combined offering of more than 1,300 PMAs; terms were not disclosed and debt financing was provided by Neuberger Berman.

Macfarlane Group Acquires Polyformes Limited

Macfarlane Group PLC has acquired 100% of Polyformes Limited for up to £11.5 million in cash (including an earn-out of up to £4.8 million over two years). Polyformes, a Leighton Buzzard–based foam converter with about 60 employees, generated £9.3 million of revenue and approximately £1.5 million of EBITDA for year ended 31 December 2023; the deal is intended to expand Macfarlane's protective packaging capabilities and accelerate its buy-and-build strategy.

Yingling Aviation Acquires Mid-Continent Aviation Services

Yingling Aviation, a PE-backed full-service MRO and FBO, has acquired Mid-Continent Aviation Services (MCAS), a Wichita-based aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul provider operating an 80,000+ sq. ft. facility at Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport. The deal, backed by AE Industrial Partners, expands Yingling's MRO capacity and technical capabilities in the strategic Wichita market; financial terms were not disclosed.
