Meter, Inc. has acquired Interval, an app development platform for building internal tools, in a cash-and-stock deal for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition brings Interval's team (including founder Alex Arena) into Meter to accelerate internal workflow automation and expand Meter's capabilities as it scales into enterprise customers across North America.

Lemonade has completed its acquisition of pay-per-mile car insurer Metromile in an all-stock transaction in which Metromile shareholders received 7.3 million LMND shares. Lemonade received Metromile's business — including over $155 million in cash, more than $110 million in premiums, an insurance entity licensed in 49 states, and telematics precision data from 500 million car trips — and will transition most Metromile employees into roles at Lemonade.
