Emerson Acquires Locus Traxx and PakSense to Expand Cold-Chain Monitoring

Emerson acquired Locus Traxx (Jupiter, Florida) and PakSense (Boise, Idaho) to expand its cargo- and cold-chain monitoring capabilities for fresh food and temperature-sensitive shipments. The deals add real-time temperature loggers and cloud-based analytics to Emerson's portfolio, strengthening its offering to growers, shippers, retailers and other cold-chain participants.
