The acquisition brings Kinetica's AI and machine-learning capabilities into VelocityEHS's Industrial Ergonomics solution to accelerate product innovation and automated MSD risk assessments.

The Stephens Group, a Little Rock-based private investment firm, finalized the acquisition of Kinetics Noise Control, a Dublin, Ohio designer and manufacturer of acoustic and vibration-control products. The firm simultaneously formed Catalyst Acoustics Group as a platform to house Kinetics alongside other noise-control businesses (including Sound Seal, IAC Acoustics, Noise Barriers and Lamvin) to consolidate capabilities and expand market coverage.
