AOTCO Metal Finishing Acquires Plating for Electronics

AOTCO Metal Finishing has acquired Plating for Electronics, a Waltham, Massachusetts-based provider of anodizing, electroplating and laser marking services. Both companies will continue to operate in their current locations with existing management and employees retained; the deal expands AOTCO's certified capacity and adds PFE's anodize colors and laser marking capabilities to AOTCO's NADCAP-accredited facility.

Metal Finishing Technologies Acquires Aqua Blasting Corp.

Metal Finishing Technologies (MFT), a Bristol, Connecticut-based provider of metal finishing and specialty coating services, has acquired Aqua Blasting Corp., a Bloomfield, Connecticut shot peening and blasting specialist. The deal — the first acquisition under MFT’s partnership with Battle Investment Group — expands MFT’s surface treatment capabilities and vertically integrates surface enhancement services for aerospace, defense, medical and semiconductor customers.

Gemini Investors partnered with management to recapitalize Alexis Russell Jewelry, a Buffalo-based direct-to-consumer designer and manufacturer of bridal and fine jewelry. Separately, Gemini portfolio company AOTCO, a metal finishing services provider near Boston, acquired Plating for Electronics, a Waltham-based anodizing and electroplating services provider, as a portfolio add-on.

Thompson Capital Partners Acquires Metco Metal Finishing, LLC

Thompson Capital Partners (TCP) completed the acquisition of Metco Metal Finishing, LLC, a Phoenix-based metal plating and chemical processing provider formerly a division of Triumph Manufacturing. TCP will combine Metco with its AID Aerospace portfolio company, investing in facility upgrades and pursuing aerospace Nadcap and quality certifications to expand capabilities and cross-sell into aerospace, automotive and semiconductor end markets.

Momentum Manufacturing Group Acquires H&M Metals

Momentum Manufacturing Group, a large specialty metal manufacturer headquartered in Georgetown, Massachusetts, has acquired H&M Metals of Amherst, New Hampshire. The acquisition adds roughly 100,000 square feet of manufacturing capacity and nearly 100 employees to Momentum's operations, expanding its sheet metal fabrication, assembly and value‑added manufacturing capabilities in the Northeast.

The Anderson Group Forms OMI Specialty Products and Acquires MetalMart International

The Anderson Group formed an aerospace platform, OMI Specialty Products, that consolidated its existing portfolio company CTCOA, LLC d/b/a Olympic Aviation with the acquisition of MetalMart International, Inc. The combined platform will be led by CEO Ali Dadvar and will bring together complementary distribution capabilities in aircraft replacement parts, chemicals and specialty metals to create an aerospace distribution platform and pursue future add-on acquisitions.
