Accela has acquired ePermitHub, integrating the latter's Digital Plan Room and COMET Version Engine into the Accela Civic Platform to streamline permit submissions, document management, and plan review. Accela said it will invest in AI-driven plan review capabilities leveraging ePermitHub's repository of plan data to automate code interpretation, flag deficiencies, and accelerate approvals for government agencies.
