VSE Corporation Acquires Kellstrom Aerospace Group

VSE Corporation (NASDAQ: VSEC) has completed the acquisition of Kellstrom Aerospace Group, Inc., a portfolio company of AE Industrial Partners, expanding VSE Aviation's distribution and MRO capabilities in the commercial engine aftermarket. VSE said the deal was funded with cash (approximately $185 million) and 172,414 common shares (subject to working capital adjustments); AE Industrial Partners' announcement characterized the sale as $200 million.

The deal expands VSE's global aviation aftermarket distribution and MRO capabilities—particularly in wheel and brake repair and distribution—and was funded with proceeds from VSE's October 2025 public offering.

TransDigm Acquires Jet Parts Engineering and Victor Sierra Aviation Holdings

TransDigm Group Incorporated has agreed to acquire Jet Parts Engineering (JPE) and Victor Sierra Aviation Holdings (VSA), both portfolio companies of Vance Street Capital, for approximately $2.2 billion in cash. The transaction expands TransDigm’s presence in the commercial aerospace aftermarket by adding engineered PMA/OEM-alternative parts, repair capabilities and distribution for commercial, regional, cargo, and business aviation customers.

The acquisition strengthens VSE's Aviation segment by expanding repair capabilities, adding OEM relationships, and enhancing its position in the commercial engine MRO aftermarket.
