TRC Companies Acquires Quatric

TransDigm Acquires DART Aerospace for Approximately $360M

TransDigm Group Incorporated agreed to acquire DART Aerospace, a Montreal-based manufacturer of helicopter mission equipment, from Greenbriar Equity Group and First Aviation Services for approximately $360 million in cash. DART, which generates roughly $100 million in pro forma 2022 revenue and employs about 400 people across facilities in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico, was acquired to expand TransDigm's proprietary product and aftermarket capabilities; the deal is expected to close in Q2 2022 subject to customary approvals.

Shorehill Capital Acquires Ownership Interest in Triad Technologies, LLC

Shorehill Capital acquired an ownership interest in Triad Technologies, LLC in partnership with Triad's management team and the Wissman family. The Wissman family retained a significant ownership stake and Doug Wissman will join the company's board; Twin Brook Capital Partners and Maranon Capital provided financing. Triad is a Vandalia, Ohio-based value-added distributor of industrial fluid power and automation solutions, serving more than 7,000 active customers across 21 locations.

Triad Technologies Acquires Industrial Service Products, LLC

Triad Technologies, LLC completed the acquisition of Industrial Service Products, LLC (ISP) on December 30, 2022. The deal adds ISP’s custom fabricated hose, valves, fittings and related fluid-conveyance capabilities and strengthens Triad’s footprint in Illinois and Indiana; Triad is partnered with Shorehill Capital, the private equity sponsor.

VDL Groep Acquires Sintecs

VDL Groep has acquired Sintecs, a Hengelo-based electronics design specialist, adding a ~75-person team and Sintecs' Scalys cybersecurity product line. The purchase expands VDL's in-house electronics design and production-support capabilities (PCB design, embedded software, signal/power integrity analysis) and complements prior electronics acquisitions to strengthen manufacturability and testability across VDL's operations.
