HireQuest, Inc. Acquires Northbound Executive Search

HireQuest, Inc. entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Northbound Executive Search, a New York-based executive placement and short-term consultant firm founded in 2010 that generated over $15 million of revenue in 2021. HireQuest will fund the deal with cash on hand, a modest draw on its line of credit, $500,000 in HireQuest stock and a seller's note portion payable over three years; Northbound founders Rachel and Greg Feder will remain to lead the business.

The deal was funded with cash on hand and a modest revolver draw and is intended to accelerate HireQuest's digital strategy by integrating Recruit Media's multimedia candidate profiles, in‑app messaging/video chat, and mobile/web platform into HireQuest's franchise technology suite.

HireQuest Acquires Assets of Snelling Staffing

HireQuest, Inc., through its subsidiary HQ Snelling Corporation, entered into a definitive asset purchase agreement to acquire certain assets of Snelling Staffing for approximately $17.3 million (before working capital adjustments). The deal includes 48 Snelling locations (about $95 million in system-wide sales in 2020) and is intended to expand HireQuest’s commercial staffing capabilities and geographic footprint across the U.S.
