HireQuest Acquires Assets of MRINetwork

HireQuest, Inc. entered into a definitive agreement to acquire certain assets of MRINetwork (MRI), including its 232 franchise offices, for approximately $13.5 million before working capital adjustments. The acquisition gives HireQuest immediate scale in executive search and professional staffing, adding MRI's franchise network and complementary capabilities to HireQuest's existing staffing brands.

HireQuest, Inc. Acquires Northbound Executive Search

HireQuest, Inc. entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Northbound Executive Search, a New York-based executive placement and short-term consultant firm founded in 2010 that generated over $15 million of revenue in 2021. HireQuest will fund the deal with cash on hand, a modest draw on its line of credit, $500,000 in HireQuest stock and a seller's note portion payable over three years; Northbound founders Rachel and Greg Feder will remain to lead the business.

Bullhorn Acquires TargetRecruit

Bullhorn has acquired TargetRecruit, a Houston-based provider of front- and middle-office recruitment solutions built on the Salesforce platform. The deal expands Bullhorn's Salesforce ecosystem to nearly 150,000 users and strengthens its presence in the healthcare staffing market, enabling TargetRecruit customers to access Bullhorn's AI, middle-office expertise, and recruitment cloud offerings.

HireQuest Acquires Assets of Snelling Staffing

HireQuest, Inc., through its subsidiary HQ Snelling Corporation, entered into a definitive asset purchase agreement to acquire certain assets of Snelling Staffing for approximately $17.3 million (before working capital adjustments). The deal includes 48 Snelling locations (about $95 million in system-wide sales in 2020) and is intended to expand HireQuest’s commercial staffing capabilities and geographic footprint across the U.S.

Workday Acquires HiredScore

Workday, the Pleasanton, California-based enterprise cloud applications company, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire HiredScore, an AI-powered talent orchestration provider headquartered in New York. The acquisition (terms undisclosed, reported to be in the hundreds of millions) will integrate HiredScore's responsible AI recruiting and internal mobility capabilities into Workday's talent management and Skills Cloud offerings to enhance recruiting, screening, and internal mobility for customers.

United Talent Agency Acquires MediaHound

United Talent Agency (UTA) has acquired El Segundo-based software and data analytics firm MediaHound, integrating its team and proprietary Entertainment Graph into UTA IQ to accelerate the agency's data and analytics capabilities. MediaHound's technology and consumer sites (Autum and Date Night) will be folded into UTA IQ to provide enhanced insights and recommendation capabilities for studios, streamers and agency clients; MediaHound was advised by Qualia Legacy Advisors.
