Technip Energies Acquires Ecovyst's Advanced Materials & Catalysts Business

Technip Energies has completed the acquisition of Ecovyst’s Advanced Materials & Catalysts (AM&C) segment in a transaction reported around $556 million, bringing approximately 330 AM&C employees into Technip. Ecovyst expects net proceeds of about $530 million (using $465 million to pay down term debt), while Technip said the deal expands its catalysts and advanced materials capabilities to support sustainable fuels, circular chemistry and carbon-capture applications.

VLS Environmental Solutions Acquires Merichem Company's Caustic Services Business

Westlake Chemical Acquires Hexion's Epoxy Business

Westlake Chemical Corporation completed the acquisition of Hexion's epoxy-based Coatings and Composite businesses (the "Epoxy Business") for approximately $1.2 billion. The transaction transfers Hexion's epoxy specialty resins, base epoxy resins and intermediates product lines to Westlake; Hexion will continue to operate its Adhesives and Versatic Acids and Derivatives product lines following the divestiture.

Ecological Laboratories Acquires TOMCO Chemical

(Cape Coral, Florida) has acquired TOMCO Chemical, a provider of bacterial products for hog farm waste management including the Pit-Perfect product in the In-Gest-O-Bac series. CoLaTenTex Acquires Ecoserv, LLC
