Westlake Chemical Acquires Hexion's Epoxy Business

Westlake Chemical Corporation completed the acquisition of Hexion's epoxy-based Coatings and Composite businesses (the "Epoxy Business") for approximately $1.2 billion. The transaction transfers Hexion's epoxy specialty resins, base epoxy resins and intermediates product lines to Westlake; Hexion will continue to operate its Adhesives and Versatic Acids and Derivatives product lines following the divestiture.
