The move establishes a local sales and service entity to support Duravant’s global food-processing customers and expand local spare-parts and technical service capabilities in Brazil.

Matthews received $232.1 million in total consideration for the business (cash plus assumption of liabilities); the business generated $72 million in sales in fiscal 2025 and Matthews said proceeds will be used to reduce outstanding debt.
