Chicago-based property manager Westward360 has acquired the community association managed portfolio of Pabcor Management, expanding its footprint in the northwest Chicago suburbs around Prospect Heights, Illinois. The deal adds several thousand residential units to Westward360's portfolio, brings some Pabcor staff into Westward360, and supports local growth and operational efficiencies.

Windermere Lease Source Acquires Watson Management Co.

Spokane-based Windermere Lease Source Property Management has acquired the assets of longtime Spokane property manager Watson Management Co., adding roughly 550 rental properties and bringing Windermere's portfolio to about 1,100 doors. Watson's owners, Rawley and Helen Harrison, have retired and four Watson employees were retained; terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Point of Rental Software Acquires Record360

Westwood Acquires Salient Partners' Asset Management Business

Westwood Holdings Group, Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the asset management business of Salient Partners, L.P., adding Salient's energy infrastructure, real estate, tactical equity and private investments capabilities. The deal (upfront $35 million with up to $25 million in deferred payments tied to targets) increases Westwood's AUM by roughly 32% and is intended to expand Westwood's multi-asset, real assets and alternatives offerings while leveraging Westwood's distribution and institutional relationships.

The deal expands Asset Living's presence in the Southwestern U.S.; owners Tom and Pam Shelton and the Shelton team will join Asset Living to lead the company's Southwest region.
