Syntax Systems Acquires Beyond Technologies

Syntax Systems, a Québec-based cloud application implementation and management specialist, announced it will acquire Montréal-based Beyond Technologies, an SAP-focused professional services firm with operations across North America, Europe and Africa. The deal — supported by Syntax's private equity partner Novacap — expands Syntax's SAP capabilities and industry-focused offerings and creates a combined team of more than 2,800 experts serving over 900 mid-market and enterprise clients.

Aqua Security Acquires Argon to Extend Software Supply Chain Security

Aqua Security has acquired Argon, a Tel Aviv–based pioneer in software supply chain security, adding Argon’s agentless CI/CD protection and code-tampering detection to Aqua’s Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP). The deal expands Aqua’s “shift-left” capabilities to protect the full software development lifecycle from code through build to runtime, reinforcing its CNAPP leadership.

Novacap and Vintage Funds Acquire Controlling Interest in Syntax Systems Group

Novacap's TMT VI Fund together with a continuation vehicle led by the Vintage Funds within Goldman Sachs Asset Management acquired a controlling interest in Montreal-based Syntax Systems Group Inc. from Novacap TMT IV, Novacap TMT V and other shareholders. The transaction is a continuation/recapitalization intended to provide capital to support Syntax's organic growth and ongoing M&A strategy; Credit Suisse assisted with the private offering of the continuation vehicle.

Supply Chain Services, a portfolio company of Sole Source Capital LLC, has acquired Access POS, an AIDC hardware and repair & maintenance provider headquartered in Eagan, Minnesota. The deal — an add-on for SCS and Sole Source's fifth for the platform since 2020 — will expand SCS' repair & maintenance capabilities and create cross-selling opportunities across its customer base; terms were not disclosed.
