KKR Launches Tender Offer to Take FUJI SOFT Private

KKR, through an Offeror owned by funds it manages (FK Co., Ltd.), will commence a second-stage tender offer for FUJI SOFT Inc. at ¥9,451 per share after acquiring ~33.9% in a first-stage offer. FUJI SOFT's board has unanimously recommended shareholders tender into the second offer; KKR says the privatization will allow it to work with management to enhance corporate value.
