Moore has acquired Communications Corporation of America (CCA) to strengthen its direct mail supply chain across printing, production and envelope manufacturing in the mid-Atlantic region. CCA, a Northern Virginia direct-mail and data-processing provider, will be branded as a Moore company; financial terms were not disclosed.

Chatham Asset Management Acquires R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company

Chatham Asset Management, through its affiliates, completed a take-private acquisition of R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company (RRD) for $10.85 per share in cash after stockholder approval. The transaction, announced December 14, 2021 and closed in February 2022, will delist RRD from the NYSE and positions Chatham to pursue operational and financial restructuring to unlock shareholder value.

Cars.com Inc. Acquires D2C Media Inc. to Expand into Canada

(d/b/a Cars Commerce) acquired Montreal-based D2C Media Inc. for CAD $105 million in cash (approximately USD $76 million) with up to CAD $35 million of potential performance-based consideration. The acquisition, which closed November 1, 2023, adds ~1,000 Canadian dealer customers and ~95 employees, accelerating Cars Commerce's geographic expansion into Canada and creating cross-selling opportunities across its Dealer Inspire and Accu-Trade brands.

CloudScale365 Acquires Moore Communications Systems

CloudScale365, a nationwide managed services provider, has acquired Moore Communications Systems (MCS), a Southampton, New Jersey-based telecommunications and cabling services firm. The acquisition expands CloudScale365’s on-site and managed services footprint in the New Jersey/Philadelphia market and will enable migration of MCS customers to CloudScale365’s Virtual Desktop and Managed Desktop solutions.

TowerBrook and CD&R Acquire R1 RCM for $8.9 Billion

Investment funds affiliated with TowerBrook Capital Partners and Clayton, Dubilier & Rice agreed to acquire all outstanding shares of R1 RCM Inc. in an all-cash transaction valuing the company at approximately $8.9 billion ($14.30 per share). The transaction will take R1 private to support continued investment in its revenue-cycle automation platform and expansion of intelligent automation and generative AI capabilities for healthcare providers.

RKD Group Acquires Data Management, Inc. (DMI)

DMI will operate within RKD Insights to expand RKD’s data management, reporting and analytic capabilities for nonprofit fundraising and marketing, maintaining existing client integrations with CRMs such as Blackbaud and Salesforce.
