Blue Point-Backed TAS Environmental Services Acquires Frac‑N‑Vac Tanks and Duckwater Services

These are TAS’s first two add‑on acquisitions since Blue Point acquired the TAS platform in May 2019 and expand TAS’s geographic footprint across Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Tennessee.

TAS Environmental Services Acquires Specialized Waste Systems

TAS Environmental Services, a Fund IV portfolio company of Blue Point Capital Partners, acquired Specialized Waste Systems (SWS) of Channelview, Texas in a transaction that closed in late December 2019. SWS — founded in 1978 with more than 70 employees and over $32 million in annual revenue — provides hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, transportation, container rental and washout services; the deal is TAS's third add-on since Blue Point acquired the platform in May 2019.

Blue Point Capital Partners Recapitalizes SASE Company, Inc.

Blue Point Capital Partners completed a recapitalization of SASE Company, Inc., a U.S.-based manufacturer and supplier of concrete polishing equipment, tooling and consumables. The partnership positions Blue Point as SASE’s first institutional investor and aims to support the company’s growth by leveraging Blue Point’s sourcing, supply chain, data analytics and digital capabilities.

Kendall and Co., partnering with management to support growth and operational improvements at the vegetation-management services provider. Headquartered in Lawrenceville, Georgia, W.A. Kendall serves investor-owned and public utilities, as well as rural electric cooperatives across the Southeast United States; BB&T Capital Markets served as the company's exclusive financial advisor for the transaction.
