Blue Point Capital Partners (via its Blue Point IV fund), in partnership with TAS management, recapitalized TAS Environmental Services, a Fort Worth, Texas–based environmental and industrial services platform operating across 13 locations in Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas. The recapitalization provides liquidity and a partnership to support TAS’s growth strategy, including strategic add-on acquisitions and continued geographic/service expansion; financial terms were not disclosed.

Blue Point Capital Partners-backed TAS Environmental Services has acquired Environmental Concepts & Services (ECS), a family-owned waste transportation and non-hazardous waste treatment provider based in Springfield, Tennessee. The acquisition is the fifth add-on for the TAS platform since Blue Point's 2019 investment and expands TAS' wastewater and waste treatment capabilities across the Southern United States.

TAS Environmental Services Acquires Specialized Waste Systems

TAS Environmental Services, a Fund IV portfolio company of Blue Point Capital Partners, acquired Specialized Waste Systems (SWS) of Channelview, Texas in a transaction that closed in late December 2019. SWS — founded in 1978 with more than 70 employees and over $32 million in annual revenue — provides hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, transportation, container rental and washout services; the deal is TAS's third add-on since Blue Point acquired the platform in May 2019.

Blue Point Capital Partners and its Blue Point IV portfolio company, TAS Environmental Services, acquired Frac‑N‑Vac Tanks and Duckwater Services, a regional provider of roll‑off boxes, transportation, washout and wastewater disposal services. These are TAS’s first two add‑on acquisitions since Blue Point acquired the TAS platform in May 2019 and expand TAS’s geographic footprint across Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Tennessee.

The deals expand TAS's Gulf Coast presence and capabilities in industrial cleaning, spill response, transportation and roll-off box rental; financial terms were not disclosed.

Patriot Environmental Acquires Transwater

Patriot Environmental, LLC has acquired Transwater, Inc., a Midland, Texas provider of remote water-monitoring solutions for oil & gas, mining and solid-waste markets. The acquisition adds Transwater’s TransWatch remote sensors, drone/boat-based surveying and water-lab capabilities to Patriot’s geosynthetics and water-management services as an add-on to Patriot’s platform within the Environmental Specialties International portfolio.
