The deal (backed by debt facilities from DunPort Capital Management) positions Alchemist for continued organic growth and a buy-and-build strategy; Rockpool Investments is reported to have exited as the prior investor.

Juniper — led by Executive Chairman Gavin Freed — has already completed an add-on acquisition of EES for Schools (Target Tracker) from Essex County Council and will pursue further organic and acquisitive growth to consolidate the fragmented UK schools software and services market.
