Advantus Corp., a privately held consumer-products manufacturer based in Jacksonville, Florida, has acquired Art 101, a designer and manufacturer of art sets and creative supplies, including its Dallas, Texas and Hong Kong operations. Advantus said the acquisition expands its craft and hobby product portfolio and will keep the Art 101 team operating from Dallas and Hong Kong to continue serving existing customers.

Advantus Corp., a privately held manufacturer of consumer and office products, acquired certain assets and brands (Artistic, NuDell and Timekeeper) from Artistic Products LLC. Artistic Products will retain other product lines (including Softalk and LED signs) and continue operating out of Hauppauge, New York under a new name; Advantus said the purchase strengthens its position in the office products channel.

Integrity360 Acquires Advantus360 to Launch Canada Hub

Integrity360 has acquired Calgary-based cybersecurity services provider Advantus360 to establish the group’s first North American hub. The deal — terms undisclosed — gives Integrity360 an operating base in Canada and will be used to develop a Calgary Security Operations Centre and expand the group’s managed and professional cyber services across Canada and the US.

ScanSource Acquires Advantix Solutions Group

The Carlyle Group Acquires Majority Stake in Victory Innovations

Cornell Capital Acquires Advantek from Tinicum

Cornell Capital has entered into an agreement to acquire Advantek, a global manufacturer of precision carrier tape and protective packaging for electronic and semiconductor components, from Tinicum-managed funds, with Tinicum retaining a minority stake. Cornell will partner with Advantek's management to accelerate growth through product innovation, capacity and geographic expansion, and M&A; terms were not disclosed.
