The strategic move combines Kiwa’s global testing, inspection and certification capabilities with Hudson Cybertec’s OT/ICS cyber expertise to expand Kiwa’s cybersecurity services and accelerate Hudson Cybertec’s growth.

Jensen Hughes, a global safety, security and risk-based engineering and consulting firm (and a portfolio company of Gryphon Investors), acquired UK- and Ireland-based IFIC Forensics, a specialist fire, explosion and related forensic investigation firm. The acquisition strengthens Jensen Hughes' fire forensics capabilities and provides immediate investigative response capability across the UK, Ireland and Europe.

IK Partners Acquires Majority Stake in Eurofeu from CAPZA

IK Partners' IK X Fund has entered into exclusive negotiations to acquire a majority stake in Eurofeu Group from CAPZA, with Eurofeu management reinvesting. Eurofeu is a French fire protection installer, maintainer and manufacturer with ~1,850 employees across 42 agencies and two production sites; IK plans to support the Group's continued buy-and-build strategy and European expansion.

Kiwa ASI Acquires Canadian Certification Body TSLC

Kiwa ASI, the St. Louis–based food safety inspection and certification arm of Kiwa, has acquired TSLC, a Canada-based certification body specializing in CanadaGAP audits for the fruit and vegetable sector. The deal expands Kiwa ASI’s footprint in Canada and strengthens its capabilities in agricultural food safety certification while TSLC clients will continue to receive services from their existing audit teams.

IK Partners Acquires Checkmate Fire from YFM Equity Partners

IK Partners' IK Small Cap III Fund has signed an agreement to acquire Checkmate Fire, the UK’s largest passive fire protection specialist, from YFM Equity Partners. The management team will reinvest alongside IK and the firm will focus on growing its inspections division, investing in people and technology, and pursuing a targeted M&A strategy to drive further expansion across the UK.

Kiwa Nederland Acquires Warehouse Safety Inspector KVVM

Kiwa Nederland (part of Kiwa) has signed an agreement to acquire KVVM, a Dutch specialist in safety inspections of storage racks, metal staircases, ladders and platforms. KVVM, registered in Almere with five employees, will join Kiwa's Building & Civil Engineering activities to expand inspection capabilities and reach a larger client base in the Netherlands and Belgium.
