The Riverside Company’s Riverside Strategic Capital Fund partnered with HKW as a minority investor to support CIS’s product and software expansion and pursue strategic add-on acquisitions; CIS is headquartered in Ashburn, Virginia and provides secure endpoint communications solutions to government and security-conscious customers.

Kiwa ASI Acquires Canadian Certification Body TSLC

Kiwa ASI, the St. Louis–based food safety inspection and certification arm of Kiwa, has acquired TSLC, a Canada-based certification body specializing in CanadaGAP audits for the fruit and vegetable sector. The deal expands Kiwa ASI’s footprint in Canada and strengthens its capabilities in agricultural food safety certification while TSLC clients will continue to receive services from their existing audit teams.

American Industrial Acquisition Corporation Acquires KI USA Corporation
