Summit was sold by private equity owners FFL Partners and Lee Equity Partners; financial terms were not disclosed and the deal was announced in September 2021 and closed in November 2021.

Acadia Healthcare Acquires CenterPointe Behavioral Health System

Acadia Healthcare completed the acquisition of CenterPointe Behavioral Health System, adding four inpatient hospitals (260 acute care beds and 46 specialty substance-use beds) and 10 outpatient locations across Missouri. Acadia funded the transaction with cash on hand and borrowings under its revolving credit facility and said the deal extends its footprint in high-growth Missouri markets (St. Louis, Kansas City and Columbia).
