Summit BHC Acquires Seven Psychiatric Hospitals from Strategic Behavioral Health

The deal expands Summit's footprint into New Mexico, North Carolina, and Wisconsin and increases its presence in Iowa, Tennessee, and Texas; terms were not disclosed.

Summit was sold by private equity owners FFL Partners and Lee Equity Partners; financial terms were not disclosed and the deal was announced in September 2021 and closed in November 2021.

The acquisition expands Porch Light Health’s service offerings to include OTP (methadone) alongside its existing outpatient MAT services, broadening access to comprehensive addiction care across Colorado.
