Stereotaxis Acquires Access Point Technologies (APT)

Stereotaxis (NYSE: STXS) entered into a definitive share purchase agreement to acquire Access Point Technologies (APT), a Minnesota-based developer and manufacturer of electrophysiology (EP) diagnostic catheters. The deal consideration is payable in Stereotaxis common stock (upfront plus contingent milestone payments); Stereotaxis said APT is expected to contribute roughly $5 million of revenue in the first year and the acquisition is intended to add catheter development and manufacturing capabilities to accelerate EP and robotic endovascular offerings.
