Arcfield Acquires Orion Space Solutions

The deal expands Arcfield's capabilities in SmallSat/CubeSat design and integration, sensors and payload development, space mission operations, and data analysis to support Department of Defense and Intelligence Community missions.

The deal is an add-on to the DynTek/rSolutions platform to expand cloud, automation and cybersecurity capabilities and the three companies will consolidate under a single brand in the coming quarter.

LightRidge Solutions Acquires Trident Systems

The add-on deal — terms not disclosed — expands LightRidge's capabilities in space mission computing, increases Trident's production capacity, and brings complementary engineering talent into the LightRidge platform.

Vertex Aerospace Acquires Raytheon Technologies' Defense Training and Mission Critical Solutions Business Lines

Vertex Aerospace, owned by private equity firm American Industrial Partners, agreed to acquire Raytheon Technologies' Defense Training and Mission Critical Solutions business lines, a group of businesses that generated approximately $1.0 billion in sales in 2020. The transaction (a divestiture by Raytheon Technologies) adds roughly 2,000 employees to Vertex, expands its training, mission-critical support and modernization capabilities, and broadens its government and commercial aerospace contract portfolio.
