Ardian Acquires Peru-based Hydropower Company

Ardian, through its Ardian Clean Energy Evergreen Fund (ACEEF), has acquired 100% of a Peru-based hydropower company from funds managed by BTG Pactual, Patria Investments and GMR Holding B.V. The acquired portfolio comprises six run-of-river hydroelectric plants with total capacity of 73.4 MW and government-awarded, US dollar–denominated contracts; the deal adds technological diversification and strengthens ACEEF's renewable energy presence in Latin America.

Meridian Waste Acquisitions, LLC has acquired the stock of Evergreen Environmental Partners Holdings LLC (EEP) and ADSI Holdings LLC from BTG Pactual Strategic Capital, expanding Meridian Waste’s Southeast footprint. The deal adds the Noble Hill municipal solid waste landfill, an EEP transfer station, more than 50 municipal contracts and additional hauling, administrative and maintenance facilities servicing customers across Alabama and Mississippi; Meridian Waste will integrate the assets with support from its private equity partner Warren Equity Partners.

Potentia Energy Acquires 1GW+ Australian Renewables Portfolio from CVC DIF

Potentia Energy has agreed to acquire a portfolio of Australian renewable energy projects from CVC DIF (DIF Infrastructure IV and V) and co-shareholder Cbus Super. The deal includes a majority stake in Bright Energy Investments (BEI) (including a wind farm recently reaching financial close of 367 MW) plus a separate portfolio of three operational solar farms and two adjacent BESS development projects — in total just over 1 GW of capacity (c.1,042 MW).
