Paceline Equity Partners Affiliate Acquires AHF Products from American Industrial Partners

An affiliate of Paceline Equity Partners has agreed to acquire AHF Products, the largest hardwood flooring manufacturer in North America, from American Industrial Partners. The deal — announced November 10, 2021 and closed in February 2022 — will position Paceline to grow AHF organically and via M&A while leveraging the company's manufacturing footprint and multi-channel distribution.

AHF Products Acquires Certain Assets of American OEM (Cumberland Products Group, LLC)

AHF Products has acquired certain assets of American OEM, the trade name of Cumberland Products Group, LLC, adding the Raintree, Hearthwood and Emily Morrow Home hardwood flooring brands and an engineered hardwood manufacturing facility in Only, Tennessee. AHF — a PE-backed flooring platform — said the acquisition will expand its product capabilities, reduce lead times, and deepen relationships with American OEM’s distributor and retail customers.

AHF Products Purchases Certain Assets and Armstrong Flooring Brand License from Armstrong Flooring, Inc.

AHF Products has completed the purchase of certain assets of Armstrong Flooring, Inc., acquiring the rights to license the Armstrong Flooring brand and three U.S. manufacturing facilities in Lancaster and Beech Creek, Pennsylvania, and Kankakee, Illinois. The acquisition expands AHF's manufacturing footprint and commercial flooring position, bringing the company's total manufacturing sites to 11 and adding a legacy brand to its portfolio.

Pacific Avenue Capital Partners Acquires H.B. Fuller North American Flooring Business (Now TEC Specialty Products)

Pacific Avenue Capital Partners has completed the acquisition of H.B. Fuller’s North American Flooring Business, which will operate as TEC Specialty Products. Headquartered in Aurora, Illinois, TEC manufactures flooring repair and installation products (adhesives, grouts, mortars and moisture mitigation systems) across six manufacturing facilities and three warehouses and will be positioned for growth under Pacific Avenue’s stewardship following the carve-out.

AHF Products Acquires LM Flooring

AHF Products, a leading U.S. hardwood flooring manufacturer based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, will acquire LM Flooring, a global engineered hardwood flooring manufacturer with U.S. operations in Carrollton, Texas and production in Sihanoukville, Cambodia. The deal (expected to close within 30 days of the announcement) expands AHF's brand portfolio and adds sawn- and sliced-face engineered manufacturing capacity to support increased U.S. demand.

Italcer Group Acquires Ceramica Fondovalle

Italcer Group, a portfolio company of Miura Partners and Mindful Capital Partners, has acquired Ceramica Fondovalle, a long-standing Italian producer of large-format porcelain slabs. The add-on strengthens Italcer's product offering in large slabs and is expected to help the group reach around €370 million in revenue in 2022; Fondovalle reported ~€50 million in turnover for 2022.
