Windjammer Capital Investors has acquired Fecon, a Lebanon, Ohio–based manufacturer of heavy‑duty forestry mulching equipment, from LFM Capital. Terms were not disclosed; Windjammer will partner with Fecon management to pursue organic growth and bolt‑on acquisitions to expand the company's market position in vegetation and land management.

Fernandez Holdings Inc. acquired 14 John Deere construction and forestry stores—nine locations from Nortrax Inc. (in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and New York) and five locations from Schmidt Equipment Inc. in Massachusetts—and is operating the combined business as United Construction & Forestry LLC. The founder-funded investment firm said it will invest in facilities, operations and talent to expand John Deere construction and forestry services and support across the Northeast.

The acquisitions extend Fairway’s geographic footprint across Florida, Tennessee, North Carolina and the Chesapeake Bay region and broaden its tree, turf, plant-health, landscaping and pest service capabilities.

Bound Tree Medical Acquires QuadMed, Inc.

Bound Tree Medical, LLC has signed a definitive agreement to acquire QuadMed, Inc.; Bound Tree will assume full operation of QuadMed following a 60–90 day integration period. The acquisition brings QuadMed’s pre-hospital care distribution business into the Bound Tree / Sarnova family, expanding the combined company’s distribution network, product and pharmaceutical offerings, and service capabilities for EMS, fire, law enforcement and other first responders.
