Avionté Acquires SimpleVMS

Avionté, a Bloomington, Minnesota-based provider of enterprise staffing and recruiting software, has acquired SimpleVMS, a Cincinnati-based vendor management system (VMS) for mid-to-large employers. The acquisition integrates SimpleVMS's VMS capabilities into Avionté's staffing platform to create an end-to-end solution for employers, staffing agencies, and talent, improving data flow, requisition fulfillment, and contingent workforce management.

Accenture Acquires Ottawa-based Avenai

The deal adds NewCloud’s managed security, backup, disaster recovery and Desktop-as-a-Service offerings as well as a nationwide 10Gb network and multiple new cloud nodes across the U.S. and Europe.
