Navisite Acquires Salesforce Consulting Firm EightCloud

Navisite has acquired EightCloud, a specialty Salesforce consulting company, to expand its enterprise application, data management and cloud services with Salesforce advisory, implementation and managed services. EightCloud — founded in 2011 and with team members in the U.S., Mexico and India — will bring managed Salesforce expertise to Navisite's mid-market and smaller enterprise customer base.

The deal adds approximately 200 SAP professionals and broadens Navisite's ability to support SAP S/4HANA migrations and SAP cloud solutions for mid-market and enterprise customers.

Navisite Acquires AWS Consulting Partner Privo

Accel-KKR Acquires Navis from Cargotec

Accel-KKR, a Menlo Park-based technology-focused private equity firm, has completed the acquisition of Navis LLC from Cargotec. The deal transfers Navis' full software portfolio and employees to Accel-KKR and is intended to accelerate Navis' SaaS and digitalization strategy while supporting strategic M&A and expansion into inland and other supply-chain solutions.

Accenture Acquires Nextira

Accenture has acquired Nextira, an AWS Premier Partner based in Austin, Texas, whose ~70 employees will join the Accenture AWS Business Group. The acquisition strengthens Accenture Cloud First's engineering capabilities in cloud-native development, AI and machine learning, data analytics and 3D/media rendering solutions, with a stated focus on media and entertainment clients. Terms were not disclosed.
