JBC Technologies, a portfolio company of River Associates Investments, acquired Die Cut Technologies (DCT), a Northglenn, Colorado-based full-service die-cutting and flexible materials converter. The add-on acquisition — JBC's first — closed on December 7, 2021 and expands JBC's converting capabilities (laser cutting, cleanroom production, large-format die cutting), manufacturing footprint, and presence in medical, electronics, automotive, and aerospace end markets.

The move consolidates Alleghany Capital’s machine tool and consumable cutting tool businesses under a single platform to share resources and expand capabilities and end-market reach in aerospace, defense, and medical sectors.

TEAM Technologies Acquires Baril Corporation

TEAM Technologies, a Clearlake-backed North American healthcare specialty manufacturer, acquired Baril Corporation, a Haverhill, Massachusetts-based contract manufacturer of disposable single-use medical products. The add-on expands TEAM's capabilities in die-cutting, laminating, device assembly and infection prevention/wound care manufacturing; financial terms were not disclosed and financing was provided by credit funds managed by affiliates of Ares Management with co-lender Northwest Mutual Capital.

Accudynamics Acquires DCG Precision Manufacturing

The acquisition expands Accudynamics' precision machining capabilities—particularly Swiss machining and grinding—and adds capacity to serve aerospace, defense, medical, and other industrial customers while retaining DCG's existing employees and management.
