Apollo Impact Acquires Accent Family of Companies

Funds managed by Apollo (through its Apollo Impact platform) completed the acquisition of the Accent Family of Companies, which includes Accent Wire-Tie, Accent Wire-Tie United Kingdom and Accent Building Materials. Existing investor Crossplane Capital and the Sims family will retain a minority stake; financial terms were not disclosed. The acquisition positions Accent for global expansion across its recycling/waste and building materials end markets.

Accent Wire Tie Acquires Cavert Wire Company

Accent Wire Tie, a portfolio company of Crossplane Capital, acquired Cavert Wire Company, North America's largest manufacturer of baling wire, based in Rural Hall, North Carolina. The deal combines Cavert’s 110,000 ft2 manufacturing plant and 80,000 ft2 distribution facility with Accent’s network to form the continent’s largest baling wire manufacturing and distribution platform, expanding manufacturing and distribution capabilities for the recycling and waste markets.

The deal — excluding certain assets such as The Red Carnation Hotel Collection — is part of TTC's family succession plan and is expected to close in Q4 2024, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
