The Reading Truck Group, a business unit of J.B. Poindexter & Co., Inc., has signed an agreement to acquire Colorado-based Mastercraft Truck Equipment, a two-location commercial truck and van upfitter. The deal expands Reading Truck's national footprint into the Denver metro area and increases its network to 24 Reading Truck locations; financial terms were not disclosed.

r2p Group, a Flensburg-based provider of passenger information and transport technology, has acquired T.G. Baker Americas Inc. (TGBA), a Vaughan, Ontario–based specialist in transit passenger information systems. The acquisition gives r2p a direct foothold in North America, strengthens local sourcing capabilities (e.g., Buy America/Canadian Content), and will deepen TGBA’s role in NetSpire product development and regional customer support.

Groendyke Transport Acquires Georgia Tank Lines' Tank Truck Assets

Groendyke Transport, Inc. signed an agreement to acquire all tank truck assets of Georgia Tank Lines (GTL), increasing Groendyke's driver count by 39 to about 900 and adding three locations. The deal expands Groendyke's footprint into the greater Atlanta market and was expected to close Jan. 1, 2022.
