SunCoke Energy Acquires Phoenix Global for $325 Million

SunCoke Energy, Inc. completed its acquisition of Phoenix Global (through the purchase of all common units of Flame Aggregator, LLC) for $325 million on August 1, 2025. The deal, funded with cash on hand and revolver borrowing, adds electric arc furnace operations and international markets to SunCoke's portfolio, expanding its capabilities beyond cokemaking and logistics.
