Swiss pharmaceutical company Acino has agreed to acquire M8 Pharmaceuticals, a Mexico City–headquartered specialty biopharmaceutical company and Montreux Growth Partners portfolio company. The deal brings over 300 M8 employees, an established product portfolio and pipeline, and market access in Mexico and Brazil to expand Acino's footprint and capabilities across Latin America; the transaction is expected to close by the end of 2023 subject to customary approvals.

DOC Pharma Acquires Geopharma Nutraceutical Portfolio and Completes Muscoril Acquisition

Actylis Acquires Pharm-Rx

Actylis has acquired Pharm-Rx, a Saddle Brook, New Jersey-based supplier of specialty ingredients for the vitamin, mineral and supplement (VMS), OTC and pharmaceutical markets. The deal expands Actylis' nutrition and OTC capabilities and supplier partnerships; Pharm-Rx will continue to operate under its brand and Mark Bostel will become President, Global Nutrition and OTC for Actylis. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Rodenstock (Apax-backed) Acquires Indo from Ergon Capital Partners

Rodenstock Group, a portfolio company of Apax Partners, has agreed to acquire the majority stake in Indo from Ergon Capital Partners III SA; minority investors Sherpa Capital and Oquendo Capital are also selling their stakes while Indo's management will reinvest in the combined group. Indo, a leading Spanish manufacturer of ophthalmic lenses and distributor of optical equipment with ~440 employees and production plants in Barcelona and Tangier, will join Rodenstock subject to antitrust clearance.
