Rodenstock (Apax-backed) Acquires Indo from Ergon Capital Partners

Rodenstock Group, a portfolio company of Apax Partners, has agreed to acquire the majority stake in Indo from Ergon Capital Partners III SA; minority investors Sherpa Capital and Oquendo Capital are also selling their stakes while Indo's management will reinvest in the combined group. Indo, a leading Spanish manufacturer of ophthalmic lenses and distributor of optical equipment with ~440 employees and production plants in Barcelona and Tangier, will join Rodenstock subject to antitrust clearance.

EssilorLuxottica Acquires Optical Investment Group (Romania)

Luxium Solutions Acquires Inrad Optics

Luxium Solutions, an affiliate of private equity firms SK Capital Partners and Edgewater Capital Partners, acquired Inrad Optics in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $19 million (including assumed debt) and $1.10 per share. The deal, completed July 2, 2024, makes Inrad a privately held, U.S.-controlled business and is intended to expand Luxium's optics and photonics manufacturing capabilities and capacity.
