TPG Capital to Acquire Majority Stake in Diocle Topco S.àr.l., Parent of DOC Generici

TPG Capital has signed a definitive agreement to acquire a majority interest in Diocle Topco S.àr.l., the parent company of DOC Generici, from ICG and Mérieux Equity Partners. DOC Generici is a leading Italian manufacturer of generic pharmaceuticals based in Milan; TPG said it will partner with management to pursue organic and inorganic growth in the Italian generics market.

Acino Acquires Select IlmixGroup Pharmaceutical Portfolio in Russia

Acino has completed the acquisition of a select portfolio of prescription pharmaceutical products and food supplements from the IlmixGroup group of companies in Russia. The deal (asset purchase) includes multiple brands used in gynaecology, oncology, urology and dermatology and is accompanied by manufacturing and supply agreements with MiraxBioPharma to ensure continued local production.

Bormioli Pharma Acquires GCL Pharma

Bormioli Pharma, a Triton Fund IV company, has acquired 100% of GCL Pharma (previously part of Guala Closures Group), a Vasto (Chieti), Italy-based manufacturer of rubber stoppers and aluminium closures for pharmaceutical applications. The business will be integrated into the Bormioli Pharma group as Bormioli Pharma Vasto Srl, expanding the buyer's pharmaceutical-closures and packaging capabilities as an add-on to its platform.
