Thycotic, a provider of privileged access management (PAM) solutions, has acquired Onion ID to add three cloud-focused PAM products — Remote Access Controller, Cloud Access Controller and Database Access Controller — to its portfolio. The acquisition strengthens Thycotic's PAM cloud and remote-access capabilities and supports Zero Trust controls for remote workers and third-party access.
