Thycotic and Centrify have completed their merger to form ThycoticCentrify, a combined cloud privileged identity security vendor backed by TPG Capital. Insight Partners, Thoma Bravo, and PSP Investments took minority stakes in the combined business as the new company begins product and go-to-market integrations.

TPG, through its TPG Capital private equity platform, acquired Forcepoint's Global Governments and Critical Infrastructure (G2CI) cybersecurity business and established it as an independent company focused on defense, intelligence and critical infrastructure customers. The transaction separates Forcepoint's Commercial and G2CI businesses; Francisco Partners will retain a minority stake in the newly independent G2CI business and Sean Berg was named CEO with Peter Leav joining as Executive Chairman.

The Cerberus investment provides NetCentrics with additional capital to strengthen financial flexibility and support capability investments and long-term growth; Kenny Cushing was named CEO in connection with the transaction.
