TPG Capital Backs Merger of CollabNet VersionOne and XebiaLabs

CollabNet VersionOne and XebiaLabs have combined to create an integrated Agile DevOps platform, in a transaction backed by private equity firm TPG Capital. The combined company will be led by new CEO Ashok Reddy; existing XebiaLabs shareholders Susquehanna Growth Equity and Accel sold their stakes as part of the transaction.

TA Associates sold its stake in Arxan as part of the combination; financial terms were not disclosed. The deal integrates Arxan’s application-security capabilities into Digital.ai’s DevOps/DevSecOps platform to deliver a unified intelligent value stream for enterprise customers.

Thoma Bravo will retain a minority interest; the deal is intended to accelerate Planview’s growth and expand its enterprise SaaS capabilities as it transitions leadership following CEO Greg Gilmore’s planned departure.
