New York-based private equity firm CI Capital Partners has made a majority investment in The Cadmus Group, a Waltham, Massachusetts-based multidisciplinary professional services and consulting firm focused on climate, energy, environment, transportation, security, and public health. The partnership will provide capital to accelerate Cadmus' U.S. and European growth through organic expansion and strategic add-on acquisitions; financial terms were not disclosed.

Wynnchurch Capital Acquires The Wheel Group

Wynnchurch Capital, a Chicago-area private equity firm, has acquired The Wheel Group, a designer and distributor of branded aftermarket wheels, specialty tires and related accessories based in Ontario, California. Wynnchurch said the investment will be a new platform to accelerate TWG's growth, leveraging the company's portfolio of proprietary brands, sourcing capabilities and 20 U.S. and Canadian sales and distribution centers.

Cadmus Acquires Nathan Associates, Inc.

CWH, maker and distributor of Method Race Wheels, Tensor Tire and GMZ Race Products and based in Rancho Dominguez, California, will expand Fox Factory's aftermarket and OEM product capabilities in off-road wheels, tires, and accessories.

Hexagon Acquires CAD Service

Hexagon's Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division has acquired Parma-based CAD Service to fully integrate its OpenCAD visualisation tools into HxGN EAM. CAD Service, which has a nine-person team and a longstanding partnership with Hexagon, will be consolidated into Hexagon to accelerate development of enhanced 3D visualisation capabilities for customers in manufacturing, energy, and transportation.
