SAP to Acquire WalkMe for Approximately $1.5 Billion

SAP SE has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire WalkMe Ltd. for $14.00 per share in an all-cash transaction (approximately $1.5 billion equity value). The acquisition will expand SAP’s Business Transformation Management and Business AI capabilities by integrating WalkMe’s digital adoption platform and forthcoming WalkMeX copilot with SAP’s Joule and enable enhanced user guidance and automation across enterprise applications; the deal is expected to close in Q3 2024 subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals.
