Elite Lighting Acquires Assets of Edison Price Lighting

California-based Elite Lighting won a bankruptcy auction to purchase the assets of Edison Price Lighting after outbidding GE Current (a Daintree company) with a $4.15 million bid. The purchase—subject to court approval—transfers the historic Edison Price brand and product assets to Elite, enabling Elite to expand its architectural and track-lighting portfolio.

Kingswood is partnering with Progress Lighting's existing management team — with Sean Veit continuing as CEO — to transition the business to a standalone company and invest in growth across residential new construction and renovation & remodel end markets. Progress Lighting is headquartered in Greenville, South Carolina and supplies residential and light commercial decorative lighting through a broad distribution network in the United States and Canada.
