AE Industrial Partners (AEI) has acquired AIM MRO, a Cincinnati-based manufacturer and supply chain manager of consumable repair products for the aerospace engine aftermarket. The transaction, which closed Dec. 2, 2019, positions AEI to expand AIM MRO's capabilities and accelerate growth across global aerospace engine and gas turbine MRO customers.

Industrial Inspection & Analysis (IIA), a portfolio company of SRM Equity Partners, has acquired Tribologik Laboratories to expand its geographic footprint and add lubricant, fuel and coolant analysis capabilities. Tribologik, founded in 1984 with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation and lab locations in the Greater Chicago and Montreal areas, will join IIA’s network of 18 locations (including 11 laboratories).

The Blackhawk Group Acquires Glendale Aero Services' MRO Business

The Blackhawk Group, a portfolio company of New State Capital Partners, has acquired the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) business of Glendale Aero Services and will rebrand the operation as a Blackhawk Performance Center (BPC-Glendale). The acquisition expands The Blackhawk Group’s Performance Center network and adds specialized Cirrus SR/Vision Jet and Cessna MRO, CAPS and avionics capabilities; Glendale’s Director of Maintenance, John Fisher, will remain in place. Terms were not disclosed.
