TransDigm Acquires Calspan Corporation

TransDigm Group Incorporated has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Calspan Corporation, a Buffalo-based provider of aerospace and defense testing and technology development services. Calspan operates seven primary facilities, employs approximately 625 people, and is expected to generate about $200 million in revenue for calendar year 2023; TransDigm expects to finance the acquisition with cash on hand and close in fiscal 2023 subject to regulatory approvals.
